The New Nordstrom Rack opens here on Thursday!!! YIPEEEEE!!!!! No more shopping pilgrimages to Hillsboro or Portland. WOO-HOOOO!!!!!!

FREE Museum Day is coming up on Saturday - a great excuse to visit a museum that you may not have ventured to before!!!! This is a national event - so tell your friends and family in other states to check it out! Admission is also waived at all National Parks on Saturday in honor of National Public Lands Day.

"Finding Mother Goose" @ Ladybug Theater at Smile Station (8210 SE 13th Ave., Sellwood section of Portland) at 10:30AM.

This show is geared for kids from 2 1/2 to 6 years old. Plenty of audience participation and the shows usually last 40 minutes. $4 per person but babes in arms are free. Pay at the door but you must phone to reserve tickets in advance at 503/232-2346. Head to the YUM-O!
