Beaverton Library storytimes are on hiatus this week but other libraries still have their storytimes running. Spring Break(down) is coming. WOW! That was fast! There are some fun activities at Beaverton CIty Library next week that require pre-registration. Go to www.beavertonlibrary.org and click on "Kids" and slide across to "Programs". There will be a link for Spring Break Events.

Mommy and Me Mondays@ World Forestry Center from 10AM-11AM. Enjoy some entertaining stories and free coffee for parents every Monday through April in this new program! Included with admission fee of $8 per adult, $5 for kids over 3, and kids 2 years and younger are free! Afterwards- take your time and enjoy all of the hands-on exhibits. This new program is for kids (7-11) wanting to learn more about the wonderful people who illustrate children's books and the art-making process. Each session includes an art adventure emphasizing the artistic style of selected illustrators. Registration required at 503/350-3600.

Relax, sip vino or sparkling water, and create a masterpiece as a professional artist walks you through the steps! "Recognition" @ PSU's Lincoln Performance Hall (1620 SW Park at Market, Portland) at 2PM&7PM.

The Portland Symphonic Girlchoir and Portland Youth Ballet present the world premiere of "Recognition" - a new musical play by Christopher Tabor. "Recognition" tells the story of a group of children who are part of a unique dance company comprising dancers with and without disabilities, the dedicated parents who support them, and the recently unemployed man they inspire to find his true path.
