Summer is officially here now that the temps are over 80!!!

If you are looking for a cool day trip, the Washington County LIbrary has added a Cultural Pass to the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum (sorry- not the Wings and Waves)!!! Click on www.wccls.org (click on "News&Events" at top and scroll down for July 6th story) for more info and participating libraries (Both Beaverton Branches & Tigard are included!). Phone your library ahead to reserve- pass is good for two free admissions!!!!Other passes include Chinese and Japanese Gardens and Pittock Mansion-FYI!

Kids Active Now Drop-in Classes@ Murray Hill Basketball Courts by the Pool (11010 Southwest Teal Boulevard) every Wednesday&Friday from 9:30-11AM.

Turn the Disney Channel off!!!!Don't let your kids vegetate on the couch this summer. Kids from 6 to 12 years can get moving in these fun classes which include a warm up, workout,and game followed by a snack with trivia games afterwards. $10 per kid, $8 per additional sibling, no advanced sign-up required. "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" @ Beaverton City Library at 8PM.

The Beaverton Civic Theatre presents a musical based on the Charles M. Schulz comic "Peanuts". Charlie Brown learns about happiness and what it takes to be a "good man". Tonight's opening show is a Community Partnership Performance so tickets are just $5 with the donation of a new or gently used book. This annual festival celebrates art, science, and technology with parades, science workshops, and live music.
