Time to hit the school treadmill once again- new teachers, homework, no more chillax schedule!

We're looking forward to the Beaverton Parade on the weekend and there's even a Parents Night Out at My Masterpiece this Saturday!

Free! Phone the store for more details at 503/670-9109. You can just never have enough Legos, can you? For kids from 6 to 14. Supplies are limited so arrive early. I have seen parents and kids line up at least 45 minutes ahead before!

Baby Hour@ Portland Art Museum (1219 SW Park Ave., Portland) at 10AM. Take a group tour of the exhibitions with your baby (up to one year old) followed by coffee and conversation. More info & pre-register at www.portlandartmuseum.org.

Fun for Ones (Ages 12-24 months)@ Tigard Library from 10:15-10:45AM AND 11:15AM-11:45AM. Bring your one year old for songs, rhymes, simple stories and movement activities. Great for new walkers. OMSI Amazing Whales Program@ Beaverton City Library - 3 One Hour Sessions starting at 3PM.Kids in grades K through 5th are invited to crawl inside a life size inflatable whale and learn more about Whales and Dolphins! Pre-registration required at 503-350-3600.

The 55th Annual Beaverton Celebration Parade@ Starts at 10AM on SW Wilson Ave& Allen Blvd.

This year the parade theme is "The Many Faces of Our City" ! Come and cheer on all the very cool entries including marching bands, gymnastic and dance teams, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, Pageant winners, rodeo stars, Chuck E. Cheese, and Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue to name just a few!
