Ladybug Theater@ Smile Station (8210 SE 13th Ave, Sellwood section of Portland). "How to Be a King in Three Easy Lessons" at 10:30AM. Geared for kids 2 1/2 to 6. Plenty of audience participation and the shows usually last 40 minutes. $3.50 per person but babes in arms are free. Pay at the door but you must phone to reserve tickets in advance at 503/232-2346. Head to the YUM-O! Sellwood Grand Central Bakery afterwards- there's a kid's room in back so you can eat while the tots play with the chalkboard,etc. Go to for menu,etc.

The themes for this Free Family Day include Spring Kites and Celebration of Hispanic Culture. Visit the museum and enjoy activities for kids of all ages.
