February was just a blur and now onto March! Washington Square Mall starts up a Kids Club activity on Saturday and there are 2 library opportunities to Read to the Dogs!

Feb 25th

Book Babies@ Tigard Library from 10:15-10:45AM.Share nursery rhymes, finger plays, songs and a simple book while developing early literacy skills. Stay and play after the program. Phone the library for more details at 503/684-6537.

Mommy and Me Mondays@ World Forestry Center from 10AM-11AM. Enjoy some entertaining stories and music every Monday through April! Included with admission fee of $9 per adult, $6 for kids over 3, and kids 2 years and younger are free! Afterwards- take your time and enjoy all of the hands-on exhibits. Kids Club Event@ Cedar Hills Crossing from 5:30-7PM.

FREE "Build a Race Car!"@ Home Depot stores (closest would be 4401 SW 110th Ave) from 9AM to Noon. Kids will learn tool safety and have fun working on this "hands-on" project. Read to the Dogs@ Beaverton City Library from 10AM-12PM. Kids from 6 to 12 years old can improve their reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to therapy dogs. The dog-and-handler teams are registered volunteers with Delta Societys Pet Partners Program, sponsored by DoveLewis. Sessions are 20 minutes and registration is required at 503-350-3600 or sign up in person at the Childrens Desk on the first floor of the library.
