Math&Science Fun@ Beaverton City Library from 6:30-7:30PM.Kids from 3 to 5 years can explore the literacy side of math and science concepts in the Play & Learn session. Registration required online at www.beavertonlibrary.org or phone at 503/350-3600.

Mommy and Me Mondays@ World Forestry Center from 10AM-11AM. Enjoy some entertaining stories and music every Monday through April! Included with admission fee of $9 per adult, $6 for kids over 3, and kids 2 years and younger are free! Afterwards- take your time and enjoy all of the hands-on exhibits. For kids from 6 to 14. Supplies are limited so arrive early. I have seen parents and kids line up at least 45 minutes ahead before!

27th Annual Woodburn Tulip Fest@ Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm (33814 S. Meridian Road, Woodburn) from 9AM-6PM daily through May 5th.

FREE "Build a Bird Feeder!"@ Home Depot stores (closest would be 4401 SW 110th Ave) from 9AM to Noon. Kids will learn tool safety and have fun working on this "hands-on" project. Kid's Club Rainbow Garden@ Al's Garden Center (Sherwood) at 9:30AM. Planting seeds and watching them sprout into your favorite fruits and vegetables is a valuable and fun experience. Kids will plant seeds that will grow into a rainbow of fresh vegetables!

Beaverton Farmer's Winter Market@ SW Hall Blvd (across from Beaverton Library) from 10AM to 1:30PM. Get your farm fresh potatoes, cabbage, spinach, kate, chard and brussel sprouts!!!! Pepperheads, Lonely Lane Farms, Souper Naturals, Fressen Bakery and Feastworks will be on hand along with fire grilled Pizza by the slice! Read to the Dogs@ Beaverton City Library from 10AM-12PM. Kids from 6 to 12 years old can improve their reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to therapy dogs. The dog-and-handler teams are registered volunteers with Delta Societys Pet Partners Program, sponsored by DoveLewis. Sessions are 20 minutes and registration is required at 503-350-3600 or sign up in person at the Childrens Desk on the first floor of the library.
