More local theater in town with the Beaverton Civic Theatre's production of Steel Magnolias opening this week. Kids can learn about potential careers during "Take Your Daughters and Sons to Work Day" on Thursday and the Oregon AG fest rounds out the weekend!

Don't forget that tomorrow is the last day for Food For Fines at BCL and Murray Scholls Branches (see Monday)! Help the community and get your fines reduced!

Recycled Crafts@ Beaverton CIty Library from 4-5PM.

All the non-perishable donations go to the Oregon Food Bank West.

Mommy and Me Mondays@ World Forestry Center from 10AM-11AM. Enjoy some entertaining stories and music every Monday through April! Included with admission fee of $9 per adult, $6 for kids over 3, and kids 2 years and younger are free! Afterwards- take your time and enjoy all of the hands-on exhibits. Beaverton Civic Theatre presents "Steel Magnolias"@Beaverton CIty Library Auditorium at 8PM.

Revolving around Truvy's Beauty Parlor in a small parish in modern-day Louisiana, Steel Magnolias is the story of a close-knit circle of friends whose lives come together there. For this opening night performance, tickets are $5 with the donation of a new or gently used book. Play runs through May 12th and tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for kids (10 years and younger).
