"How to be a King in Three Easy Lessons" is geared for kids from 2 1/2 to 6 years old. Plenty of audience participation and the shows usually last 40 minutes. $3.50 per person but babes in arms are free. Pay at the door but you must phone to reserve tickets in advance at 503/232-2346. My girls (6 and 8 years old) and I loved Southridge's Fall production of "Aladdin" - impressive acting, singing, school orchestra, costumes- what more could you ask for? The show will run April 15th, 16th, 22nd& 23rd at 7PM with Saturday matinees on April 17th and 24th at 2PM. Tickets are $10 per person- buy at the door or reserve for will call at 503/259-5483. (If you buy tickets via internet there's a handling fee- DOINK!!!!!).FYI- if I remember correctly, the show consisted of two 40 minute acts with a brief intermission.

Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's "The Little Mermaid", this animated feature from Hayao Miyazaki tells the story of a young and overeager goldfish named Ponyo and her quest to become human.
