Preschool Storytime@ Beaverton Library at Murray Scholls Branch from 9:30AM-10:AM. Get your morning started with fun stories for kids from 3ish to 5 years old at the newest branch! 48th Annual Oktoberfest@ Mt. Angel, OR from 11AM-Midnight through Sunday!Mount Angel was settled by German pioneers in the 1800s and provides a festive setting for Oregon's largest folk festival! Check out this lively harvest party- sample delicious Bavarian treats, sip beer, watch folk dancing, and listen to live music. Kid's Club Indoor Garden@ Al's Garden Center (Sherwood) at 11AM. Experimenting with different types of flower planters is fun and adds a great conversation piece to your front porch or patio. Family Festival@ Portland Japanese Garden from 10AM-4PM.

Family Festival will feature hands-on fun for the whole family. Children will have an opportunity to dress in a kimono, learn the art of origami and participate in a traditional tea ceremony. A new family activity map also will be available.The Taiko drumming group Takohachi will perform and offer two brief drumming workshops for children. The 3rd Annual Murrayhill Family Triathalon@ 9AM. This is a family fun, non-competitive event that is open to residents and non-residents  All the details are at www.murrayhillrec.com under upcoming events!
