The first week of December kicks off with 2 great book events at Powell's, a few Christmas tree lightings, and the fabulous Garden Home Christmas Bazaar on Saturday! There's also an abridged Nutcracker performance at the Tualatin Library on Sunday!

29th Annual Holiday Bazaar@ Garden Home Recreation Center from 9AM-4PM.

We have always found really cool, locally crafted holiday gifts here! There will be over 100 vendors with ornaments, jewelry, scarves and more! FREE "Make a Tic-Tac-Toe Game"@ Home Depot stores (closest would be 4401 SW 110th Ave) from 9AM to Noon. Kids will learn tool safety and have fun working on this "hands-on" project. Wise cracks and plot twists fly faster than Santa's sleigh in this yuletide whodunit, featuring down-and-out gumshoe, Harry Monday, when the Harrigan's department store payroll goes missing, along with the store's St. Nick.
