An Irish Ceili@Tigard Library from 6:30-8:30PM.Celebrate St. Patrick's Day early with toe tapping fun featuring Irish music and dance. Irish musicians will sing and play traditional Irish music on guitar and button accordion. Then, in the spirit of a traditional ceili (community social gathering), learn some traditional dance steps while the musicians accompany you. Shrek- The Musical@ Southridge High School (9625 SW 125th Ave., Beaverton) at 7PM.

We just saw this Shrektastic production last weekend and it was hard to believe we weren't Off-Broadway! The voices, orchestra, costumes, sets, and giant dragon puppet were amazing! The leads were all fantastic but we think the Donkey stole the show (shown here) with his one liner deliveries and dance gyrations! Tickets are $10 for General Admission. ACMA presents "Oliver!"@ ACMA Arts Center (11375 SW Center St., Beaverton) at 2PM.

Nineteenth century London comes alive on the ACMA stage for Lionel Bart's Oliver!  Based on Oliver Twist, by Charles Dickens, Oliver! won three Tony awards when it opened in 1963, including Best Musical Score.  With a cast of over 60 students, including members of ACMA's Dance Ensemble and Advanced Choir, this will be ACMA Theatre Company's biggest production ever. Tickets are $15 for adults, $8 for students.Tickets are available online at www.acmatickets.com with more info at www.acmatheatre.com. FINAL PERFORMANCE!
