Truck Day for Preschoolers@ Beaverton City Library West Parking Lot from 10:30AM-11:30AM.Bring your kids to explore big fire trucks, buses, ambulances, police cars and more in the parking lot by the park. Check out the big rigs and honk the horns! Phone the library for more info at 503/350-3600.

Four Buck Tuesday@ Oregon Zoo from 9AM-4PM. Admission is discounted to $4 per person and children under 3 are free as usual. Go to www.oregonzoo.org for more info. As an adult, ride the Max and get $1.50 off admission (show ticket stub) so really $2.50 Tuesday!!!! Kids 7 years old and under ride the Max for free.

49th Annual Oktoberfest@ Mt. Angel, OR from 11AM-Midnight through Sunday!Mount Angel was settled by German pioneers in the 1800s and provides a festive setting for Oregon's largest folk festival! Check out this lively harvest party- sample delicious Bavarian treats, sip beer, watch folk dancing, and listen to live music.
