Art of the Story Festival:Brody Theater@ Raleigh Hills Elementary (5225 SW Scholls Ferry Road, Portland) at 6:30PM.Brody Theater specializes in narrative improvisation, or long-form. The underlying goal of their work is to tell engaging stories that make people think, that help people grow, and that make people laugh. The Brody puts an emphasis on both entertainment and experiment, making it a showcase for both audience-pleasing performances and cutting edge theatrical presentation. Free Admission@ Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden (SE 28th Ave&Woodstock Blvd., Portland) on Tuesdays&Wednesdays from 10AM-6PM.If you're looking for a quick day trip on a non-rainy day, then check out this gorgeous 7 acre garden with vibrant rhododendrons, azaleas, and 3 waterfalls!!! Stroll down shady paths to Crystal Springs Lake. Kids under 12 are always admitted for free and there's just a $4 charge for adults from Thursday-Monday. Four Buck Tuesday@ Oregon Zoo from 10AM-4PM. Admission is discounted to $4 per person and children 2 years and younger are free as usual. Go to www.oregonzoo.org for more info. As an adult, ride the Max and get $1.50 off admission (show ticket stub) so really $2.50 Tuesday!!!! Kids 6 years old and under ride the Max for free.

Fun for Ones (Ages 12-24 months)@ Tigard Library from 10:15-10:45AM AND 11:15AM-11:45AM. Bring your one year old for songs, rhymes, simple stories and movement activities. Great for new walkers. Peter Pan, Jr.@Conestoga Middle School (9985 SW 125th Ave., Beaverton) at 7PM.The Conestoga Drama Club has been hard at work to bring a fabulous musical to the stage with pirates, lost boys, fairies, Indians, and mermaids galore! Tickets -cash only- at the door are $5 for kids 5 years and older, $6 for seniors, $7 for adults and kids 4 years and under are FREE! Run time is about 1 hour and 15 minutes with one intermission. Bring cash for concessions!!!!Performances are Wed-Friday this week with one more performance on Tuesday night next week!

Food for Fines through Sunday (4/19)!In celebration of National Library Week, both Beaverton Library branches will be doing a Food for Fines drive. For every non-perishable food item you bring to the desk, the library will waive $2 in fines from your library account up to $20. Bills for lost or damaged items are not eligible for fine amnesty.
