MOMS Club& Grupo Condor!

Hi! Everyone-

There are several opportunities to hear the Latin musical group - Grupo Condor- at local libraries this week!

Also, if you know any new moms (or moms new to the area) then please tell them to swing by the MOMS (MOMS Offering Moms Support) Club booth at the upcoming Saturday Beaverton Farmers Market. We'll have members on hand to answer questions and info on our upcoming July Open House!

Jul 5th

Grupo Condor@ Murray Scholls Branch (11200 SW Murray Scholls Place in the Murray Scholls Town Center) at 12:30PM

Grupo Condor will present "Somos La Musica"! Space at this library is tight so get tickets at noon. Performance is outside so bring a blanket or towel to sit on and hats and sunblock if it's hot!!!!

Book Babies (0-12 months)@ Tigard Library from 10:30-11AM. Babies and their grown-ups are invited to share nursery rhymes, finger plays, songs and a simple book while making new friends and developing early literacy skills! Stay and play after the program! Free Family Film Festival@ Regal Cinemas Bridgeport Village Stadium every Tue., Wed., Thurs. through August at 10AM. This week Jimmy Neutron (G) and Monsters vs. Aliens(PG). Check out and click on "now showing" and then Free Family Festival for the schedule at your fave theater (FYI- different movies at different theaters and not all show on Thursdays).

Grupo Condor@ Beaverton Library for 2 (45 minute) shows at 12:30PM and 2PM. Doors open 10 minutes before show time. Check out this high-energy performance of traditional Latin American sounds! The shaved ice last week was dee-lish (Lime won flavor test over Bluebery Bubble Gum - AGHHH!!!!). Beware- there are mini-pie and cupcake stands there, too!!!!

Just for Kids Store Tour@ Whole Foods Market (19440 NW Cornell Road, Hillsboro) at 1PM (every Wed. in July). MOMS Club Booth @ Beaverton Farmers Market from 8AM to 1:30PM

I've been an active member of the MOMS Club of Beaverton for almost 9 years and the club has been my rope ladder to sanity! If you're a "full-time" mom or a part-time working mom, then check out our club. We've got playgroups, park playdates, organized outings with the kids, MOMS nights out and a book club - to name a few activities. My family and I have met so many wonderful friends through the years that I don't plan on leaving the club any time soon!
