Free "A Time-Saving Thanksgiving" Class@ Williams-Sonoma (Wash. Sq.) at  6PM. You'll have time to relax and chat with your guests after learning low labor but high flavor Thanksgiving side dishes, etc. Reserve a spot by phoning the store at 503/684-2784. Arrive early to snag a seat! Next Sunday's class moves "The Perfect Cookie Exchange".

The Gingerbread Man@ Ladybug Theater at Smile Station (8210 SE 13th Ave., Sellwood section of Portland) at 10:30AM. This show is geared for kids from 2 1/2 to 6 years old. Plenty of audience participation and the shows usually last 40 minutes. $3.50 per person but babes in arms are free. Pay at the door but you must phone to reserve tickets in advance at 503/232-2346.
