Mathletics, Nutcrackers and Reptile Man! Hi! Everyone-

Storytimes at Beaverton Libraries are on break starting this week but you can still attend at Garden Home and Tigard LIbraries. There are 2 short and sweet editions of the classic Nutcracker to attend with your kids (ages 4 and up) next weekend. We have been to both in previous years and both productions are fantastic!

So many fun holiday events, so little time!!!!

Book Babies@ Tigard Library from 10:30-11:30AM.

Dec 14th

The Reptile Man@ Tigard Library from 7-8PM

Bring the whole family for an entertaining and fun fact-finding journey into the mysterious world of reptiles! This is always a crowded event so arrive early for parking and a seat!!!! Go to www.tigard-or.gov/library for more info.

Four Buck Tuesday@ Oregon Zoo from 9AM-4PM. Admission is discounted to $4 per person and children under 3 are free as usual. Go to www.oregonzoo.org for more info. Yes- the price has increased from 2 Buck Tuesday but as an adult, ride the Max and get $1.50 off admission (show ticket stub) so really $2.50 Tuesday!!!! Kids 7 years old and under ride the Max for free.

Holiday Lights@ Peacock Lane (S.E. Portland) starting tonight and running through New Year's Eve.

Since 1929, residents of this neighborhood have been decorating their homes with an extravaganza of festive lights and holiday decorations. Take a stroll and sip cocoa! For map and more details, go to www.peacocklane.net.

Sleigh Bells Ring! @ Ladybug Theater at Smile Station (8210 SE 13th Ave., Sellwood section of Portland) at 10:30AM. This show is geared for kids from 2 1/2 to 6 years old. Plenty of audience participation and the shows usually last 40 minutes. $3.50 per person but babes in arms are free. Pay at the door but you must phone to reserve tickets in advance at 503/232-2346. Head to the YUM-O! Sellwood Grand Central Bakery afterwards- there's a kid's room in back so you can eat while the tots play with the chalkboard,etc. Go to www.grandcentralbakery.com for menu,etc.

The whole family is invited to learn about exercise and nutrition at this one of a kind event. A free healthy dinner will be provided and be sure to wear comfy clothes so you can stretch and move!
