Book Babies@ Tigard Library from 10:30-11:30AM.

Kids Club Event@ Cedar Hills Crossing from 4-6PM.

This month's event -in the Community Room- features an appearance by Mother Goose for Frosty the Snowman's Birthday! This fun, interactive show is designed for the younger kids this month. Go to www.cedarhillscrossing.com.

SOS! Bunny Needs Help!@ Ladybug Theater at Smile Station (8210 SE 13th Ave., Sellwood section of Portland) at 10:30AM. This show is geared for kids from 2 1/2 to 6 years old. Plenty of audience participation and the shows usually last 40 minutes. $3.50 per person but babes in arms are free. Pay at the door but you must phone to reserve tickets in advance at 503/232-2346. Lost Egypt exhibit opens@ OMSI at 9:30AMOMSI's latest exhibit features real human and animal mummies, a dig site and tomb art! Kids can decode heiroglyphics, build a pyramid, and learn all about mummification. Go to www.omsi.edu for more info.

Family Storytime@ Beaverton City Library at 1PM.

Cooking with Asian Flair@ Tigard Library from 1 to 2PM.  Learn the culinary skills of healthy, tasty, simple Asian cooking with food specialist Hye Kim. She will discuss choosing ingredients and demo how to slice and marinate! Sample a marinated beef, vegetable and noodle dish called "job chae".

Enjoy mochi (Japanese rice cake) samples, demos and hands-on activities for all ages including mochi pounding, ikebana (flower arranging), origami, games and more!
