There are several plant related activities this week and the Hearing Voices Storytelling Festival kicks off on Sunday at Tigard Library!

26th Annual Woodburn Tulip Fest@ Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm from 9AM-6PM daily through May 1st.

Supplies are limited so arrive early. I have seen parents and kids line up at least 45 minutes ahead before!

Savor! The Cooking School@ Washington County Fairgrounds (Hillsboro) from 4-9PM

The 3 Silly Goats Gruff @ Ladybug Theater at Smile Station (8210 SE 13th Ave., Sellwood section of Portland) at 10:30AM. This show is geared for kids from 2 1/2 to 6 years old. Plenty of audience participation and the shows usually last 40 minutes. $3.50 per person but babes in arms are free. Pay at the door but you must phone to reserve tickets in advance at 503/232-2346. 7th Annual Hearing Voices Storytelling Festival Kick-Off@ Tigard Library from 1-2:30PM

The week-long storytelling extravaganza kicks off with performances by professional storytellers Kelly Hoffman (Around the World in 30 Minutes) and Ken Iverson (It Got Serious After the Lion Ate My Antenna!).
