There may be a chill in the air but Summer Reading Sign-up for kids, teens, and adults starts this week!!! Most library storytimes are on hiatus this week.

Other highlights include the free kid's workshop event at Home Depot and the Kids' Drawing Party at Powell's!!!

First Day to Register for SUMMER reading& Kick-off Carnival at Garden Home Library from 3-5PM

Blow bubbles and try water bottle bowling! Stop by and play some fun carnival games! Registration for "One World, Many Stories" Summer Reading 2011 starts today (sign up through July) so sign up at your local library or at the carnival! Summer reading is for all kids, birth to those entering Grade 5. Kids entering Grade 6 or higher in Sept. '11 can register for Teen Summer Reading!  Read for at least 15 hours over the summer and earn a paperback book and more prizes. Novel Destinations Summer Reading Program@ Your Washington County Libraries

Summer reading isn't just for the kiddos!!! Summer reading for 18 years and up starts June 1st so sign up at Beaverton City LIbrary or Murray Scholls anytime between June 1st and August 31st.
