Leapin' Louie Lichtenstein@ Beaverton City Library at Murray Scholls at 12:30PM.

You'll be roped into Leapin' Louie's hilarious and amazing cowboy tricks. Bring a blanket to watch the show on the patio (sunscreen and hats, too if it's sunny!).

Book Babies@ Tigard Library from 10:30-11:30AM.Share nursery rhymes, finger plays, songs and a simple book while developing early literacy skills. Stay and play after the program. Phone the library for more details at 503/684-6537.

Rumpelstiltskin@ Broadway Rose Theatre (Deb Fennell Theater at Tigard High School located at 9000 SW Durham Road in Tigard) at 11AM.

These short (40ish minutes), lively productions are a great way to introduce kids to the theater!!! I started taking my kids when they were about 3.The original songs are always fun for both parents and tots and the ticket price is right at $8!!! Shows often sell out so get your tickets in advance by phoning the box office at 503/620-5262 or at www.bwayrose.com. The kids can meet the characters afterwards for photos and program autographs!

Salem Art Festival& Fair@ Bush's Pasture Park (Salem) through Sunday

Get your art on at the 62nd Annual Salem Art Fair and Festival! The Artist Marketplace will feature works by over 200 artists and craftspeople. OPB Children's Village@ Da Vinci Days Festival (OSU lower campus, Corvallis) from 11AM-5PM.

This annual festival celebrates art, science, and technology with parades, science workshops, and live music. In the OPB Children's Village, the kids can enjoy hands-on activities such as bug school and more! Admission prices are $10-15 per adult, $10 per child (6-12), and children 5 and under are free!
